TRUE STORY by jamie flam 

Although Leonardo wasn't on screen at the Growing 
Pains reunion earlier this year, rest assured he was 
certainly on the set.  Alan wouldn't have it any other 
way.  On the third and final day of taping, a fur coat 
laden DiCaprio stormed the set with silly confetti al 
la Rip Taylor and got the entire cast real good.  Kirk 
Cameron's reaction was less than enthusiastic, as the 
two never got along after the bagel debacle of '91. 
Still, laughter ensued as the director and Leo made a 
bunch of personal jokes with each other and everyone 
else laughed like they knew what they were saying. 
Then, as Leo was heading out to "hang" with friends at 
a local bar, Jeremy Miller was denied as he tried to 
tag along with his former superstar co-star.  "Sorry, 
dude, but I don't hang out with people like you 
anymore."  Of course he was pointing to the fact that 
Jeremey Miller is a devout Christian.  But more 
importantly, til this day, has has sided with Kirk on 
the bagel incident, much to Alan Thicke's dismay. 
Thicke tried to make up for the scene once again, 
attempting to have three dozen bagels delivered to Leo 
that night, but soon found that he no longer had his 
current address.
