Upon seeing your name,
I smile with content.
Because I know that you realize,
that it's friendship to you that I have.

I treasure the day,
that we first met.
And so do you,
I'm willing to bet.

Smiles are forever,
or so they say.
I hope that this is true,
for it's still the best way.

Smile when you have the chance,
for I am near.
To offer you what I can,
aren't I a dear?

Though we are far,
friends we'll stay.
For we'll treasure our friendship always,
