(This is a poem that I wrote when I was back in high school and my writing style was 
different back then. But I think it's pretty good and I wanted to share it!!)

Title: My Shining Star

Way up in the sky,
there is a shining star.
It shines a path,
and shows me the way.

It is my guiding star,
and shows me the way.
It is bright,
and shines all over.

It's always by my side,
and never leaves me.
It knows where I'm going,
and follows me.

It knows if I'm lost,
and knows how to find me.
It keeps me safe,
and knows where I am.

This shining star,
is my friend.
It knows me well,
and shines upon my path everyday!!!!
